Details

Light up the trails aboard Giant's ridiculously fast Anthem X 29er 3. This go-fast aluminum 29er boasts Giant's Maestro suspension and a RockShox Monarch shock to tame rough terrain while big 29-inch wheels float you over tough obstacles. On the front, a tapered OverDrive steerer and 15mm through-axle on the 100mm-travel RockShox Recon Silver fork ensure a true-tracking front end. And providing the go is Shimano's 27-speed drivetrain that shifts with trademark precision and light action. Other awesome components include Shimano hydraulic brakes, Schwalbe tires, Giant's Connect cockpit, and a sleek, supportive Giant saddle.

After riding a hardtail for over ten years I switched to 29er softtail. Should have done it long ago. Climbs like a goat. Super fast in every terrain.I am very happy

      Comments:

I picked this bike (my first full suspension) up from my LBS in early spring after comparing similar Treks, Tallboys, and Specialized models. I have ridden it 2-3 xs per week since. I love this bike! Enough suspension to care for my worn out back, but not so much that it affects the climbing. The bike never feels spongey - even on steep climbs. The frame is pretty long, so the stance is more aggresive relative to the Trek I was comparing. This results in a more smooth and controlled ride on the descents (in my opinion) and a more controlled feel overall. I highly recommend this bike.
